Mel B has admitted she is 'scared' by the idea of dating again after her tumultuous romantic history.
In the interview, the singer, 44, opened up about her allegedly abusive relationship with ex husband Stephen Belafonte, as well as her past relationships with both men and women.

Mel has one daughter, Phoenix Chi Gulzar, 20, with first husband Jimmy Gulzar, as well as daughters Angel Murphy Brown, 12, with Hollywood actor Eddie Murphy and Madison Brown Belafonte, eight, with second husband Belafonte.
She was also in a five-year relationship with filmmaker Christine Crokos, which ended in 2006.
A now-single Mel said during the interview that while she was 'scared' of dating, her past meet-ups had not been 'disastrous'.
She said: 'The idea of dating scares me a little bit, but the dates that I have been on haven't been disastrous because I've always either met them through a friend of a friend, or they've been in the celebrity circle, so I've always felt quite safe and it's always been very respectful so, so far so good, but I'm still single, so I don't even know if it is a good thing!'

And despite being diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after accusing Belafonte of emotional and physical abuse during their 10-year marriage - something which he has denied - the star insisted on being positive.
'I wouldn't call my dating experience bad, I've only been single for three-and-a-half years,' she said.
'I've been married for ten years, then I was engaged for a few years before that so I've always been in long-term relationships.

She went on: 'Nobody is ever going to have that 100% as soon you get into that relationship, but don't you think you can develop that over time, and that's what relationships are meant to be for, to be able to work at it and better each other at the same time'.
Mel, who recently claimed she had had a fling with her Spice Girls bandmate Geri Horner, 47, also spoke positively about her five-year relationship with Christine.
'I do like a man to be a man, but then having said that, I have had a five-year relationship with a woman,' she said.
Family: Mel has daughter Madison Brown Belafonte, eight, with second husband Belafonte, as well as eldest daughter Phoenix Chi Gulzar, 20, and Angel Murphy Brown, 12
'We met in the middle when it came to romance, the first moves, and telling each other how we feel, so I've had the best of both worlds.
'I'm very aggressive on stage but not very aggressive with making the first move, I think it should organically happen.'
The pop star went on: 'I've always had good matches. My ex-girlfriend was very much like me, a little bit of a tomboy, would say whatever she thought, very well-travelled and cultured up.
Bright side: 'I wouldn't call my dating experience bad, I've only been single for three-and-a-half years,' she said
'But the relationships I've had with guys, I think if you're really confident in yourself and you know who you are, that's very attractive to me, you don't have to be aggressive and make the first move, you can sense if you have a good connection and where it's gonna go'.
However, Mel said she had 'blocked' two of the fathers of her children, while one she was still 'good friends with'.
'I've got three kids by three different fathers, and I've blocked two of them because I don't see them anymore.

'But one of them, I still follow and we're really good friends and we're raising our great daughter together so I have the best of both worlds.
'I've done it that way and I can do it now, the other way, where I am still friends with my exes (apart from two).'
But she did also admit to having had a 'little snoop' on previous partners' phones.
Naughty: Mel also admitted to having had a 'little snoop' on previous partners' phones
'I've checked my partner's phone in the past and I haven't really found anything that's made me go oh my god, but I've had a little snoop here and there.
'If the phone's lying there and it's not locked and you know their password, I don't see what the harm is, as long as it's not like a weekly thing that you're doing,' she added.
Last month the star revealed she is haunted by a terrifying nightmare in which Belafonte cuts her finger off.
The Spice Girl said she had to be calmed down by her mother Andrea after waking up from the haunting dream.
The dream was triggered by her PTSD.

Reliving the terrifying nightmare, Mel told The Sun on Sunday: 'I came running down the stairs because I thought my ex had cut my finger off, I thought it had actually happened because he was threatening to do that.
'I was convinced my finger was gone and my mum had to reassure me it was still there.
'I have to remind myself that I’m living in the present and that the flashback is my brain playing tricks on me.'
Past life: Mel was married to first husband Jimmy Gulzar from 1998 until 2000, and the couple had Phoenix together
Not well-suited Mel also has daughter Angel with Hollywood A-lister Eddie, 58
Mel and Stephen separated in December 2016, with the television presenter accusing Belafonte of 'emotional and physical abuse'.
Speaking about her struggle with PTSD after their divorce was finalised in 2017, Mel previously said on Lorraine earlier this year: 'Unfortunately I experienced a ten year marriage that was very, very abusive on every single level.
'When I got out, I decided it was about time that I spoke about it and by speaking about it, I didn't realise how many people had been in the same situation.
'It's everything that I went through and am still going through because of that abusive relationship.'
