'Dressing room is lit,' she captioned the series of snaps, which showed her in front of a wall painted pink with a heart-shaped excavation and pale pink wings surrounding a heart-shaped balloon.

The display was adorned with dozens of balloons and teddy bears.

Taylor's dressing room seemed to have been designed specifically for her with multiple cat decorations, including a painting of a sly cat wearing a bow tie and a gold crown.

Another canvas featured a gray cat displaying heart-melting eyes, which Taylor did her best to approximate in her photo.

Taylor was in Guangzhou for an on-stage conversation about her most recent album Lover and her role in the upcoming musical Cats.

The event coincided with China's Singles Day, originally an anti-Valentine's Day celebration that morphed into the world's largest shopping holiday after the Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba co-opted it.

Over 400 million people took part in Alibaba's event last year, with a whopping $30.8 billion in merchandise sales throughout the sale, eclipsing the US' Black Friday and Cyber Monday combined ($24.2 billion).

Earlier in the day, Taylor performed at Alibaba's 11.11 Global Shopping Festival at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai.
