The trailer featured an appropriately dramatic voiceover, which over a shot of the Australian jungle began: 'This Sunday the jungle as we know it will never be the same.
'One woman will head down under and change the game. It's a new breed of jungle queen - and her name is Kate Garraway.'
Alongside the voiceover viewers saw an incredible compilation of some of Kate's funniest GMB moments, which included making clay pots, having a Titanic moment and various on-screen blunders.

Supportive: As the voiceover said Kate is 'read to get her hands dirty,' the star could be seen serving host Piers Morgan his breakfast
Too good: She could also be seen having her 'Titanic moment' in one clip alongside actor Martin Clunes
The trailer continued: 'She's one of our country's athletes willing to take on any challenge.
'She's unbreakable in a crisis and ready to get her hands dirty no matter how hard that task seems.'
In more funny clips, Kate can be seen shaking a toy chicken in her mouth, having a 'Titanic,' moment with Martin Clunes and serving Piers his breakfast.
Following the trailer, host Piers insisted he convinced Kate to sign up for the show, telling Susanna Reid and Richard Arnold: 'Kate rang me about three to four weeks ago and said ''what do you think?''
'I said ''do you know what, you should absolutely do it!'' If you can hang around this show you can handle three weeks in the jungle. People will love her she's going to be hard-working- she's going to be all the gritty things you need.'
Getting ready: Kate has already said she's determined to be crowned Queen Of The Jungle for 'all the older women,' and wants the camp to be a 'Brexit-free zone'

Susanna's a lady in red wearing Ted Baker
Good Morning Britain’s Susanna Reid rarely makes a fashion faux pas and this beautiful bright dress looks great on her. Susanna’s wardrobe is something we often are envious of and this number is no exception.
Wearing a red skater dress from Ted Baker, Susanna is red-y to take on the day! This colourful dress highlights Susanna’s waist by nipping her in at all the right places and skimming over her hips.
Finishing the look with some nude court shoes, which create the illusion that Susanna’s legs go on for days!
Do you have a Christmas party on the horizon and want to make a statement like Susanna? Well don’t go unnoticed this festive period and shop Susanna’s dress by clicking (right) on or check out some of our favourite red skater dresses that are on the high street now for less.
Susanna didn't seem convinced, but Piers added: 'She was genuinely in two minds, because it can go two ways, if you get bounced out straight away, it can be quite humiliating. It is a quite a big thing to go in there.'
On Monday Kate was finally confirmed to be entering the I'm A Celebrity jungle after weeks of heavy hints.
She is set to appear alongside stars including footballer Ian Wright, Capital FM DJ Ross Kemp and American reality star Caitlyn Jenner.
Following the news Kate insisted that she wants to camp to remain a 'Brexit-free zone,' saying: 'I am a news junkie and I can't remember a time when I haven't read a paper or even when I am abroad, watched the news on a TV or your phone.
But maybe one of the joys of doing I'm a Celebrity will be not talking about Brexit! Maybe that could be this year's thing and nobody is allowed to talk about Brexit because I have been talking about Brexit since the year before the referendum!'
