Amanda Holden is worlds away from her glamorous day job as she disastrously tries to milk a goat in Heart Radio challenge

She is known for her glamorous persona and rarely has a hair out of place.

But Amanda Holden got back to nature as she was tasked with milking a goat as part of Heart Radio's 'Yes-Vember' challenge on Thursday.

Within minutes, the flustered Breakfast Show presenter, 48, shouted: 'It's all going teats up' when Shelly the goat dramatically kicked over the jug of milk.

Ahead of the challenge Amanda said: 'OK thank you very much to Natasha who texted in and suggested I milk a goat. It's very random.

'I'm here at Bocketts Farm with the lovely Shelly.'

As she started to milk the goat, Amanda said: 'I have never done this in my life,' before crying: 'oh god, oh it's going wrong. It's all going teats up.'

'The other one is leaking. I can't get anything out. Hannah's giving her more food to distract her.

'This is a bit like Jamie in the morning's so long as you keep feeding him I can get away with murder.'

And things went from bad to worse when the presenter struggled to get any milk from Shelly's udder.

'The jug is going back in - oh she's kicked it all over it again,' said Amanda.

'She's put the foot in the entire jug, she's giving herself a little mani pedi. She's soaking her feet in her own milk.'

The Britain's Got Talent judge was then told to nuzzle her head into Shelly's hip joint in a bid to get more milk.

Finally holding up her jug of milk, Amanda said: 'I'm a teat expert extraordinaire. I've done really well, Shelly has done really well.'

'It's another skill I can add to my CV.'

The challenge comes after Amanda broke her leg while 'showing off' on a children's sea assault course on a family holiday to Cyprus with her husband Chris Hughes and youngest daughter Hollie, seven last month.

She told Hollie she would go on the course with her, before slipping and breaking her fibia in two places.

The radio presenter has since taken to arriving at Heart Radio on a trendy black scooter so she can protect her broken leg.

Check out Amanda wearing a Zara skirt

The Duchess of Cambridge, Holly Willoughby and Zendaya are all fans of the tartan skirt, and now Amanda Holden has joined the gang.

The presenter has been expertly dressed by Karl Willett in a checked midi skirt and deep red satin shirt, both by Zara, for her radio show and we're loving how Amanda is channelling a festive vibe!

The high-waisted A-line skirt is a classic item to pull out your wardrobe at this time of year as you can team it with thigh-high boots for the office before slipping on some heeled sandals for a Christmas party.

Sadly, the skirt was so popular last year when it hit the sales it’s now sold out. However, with our plethora of look-alikes below, you can easily replicate Amanda’s look. Don’t forget to shop her shirt too!
