Strictly Come Dancing star Karen Hauer displays her lithe physique in skintight leather trousers as she leaves It Takes Two

Her last performance with celebrity partner Chris Ramsey received mixed reviews on Saturday evening.

But there were top marks all round as Karen Hauer got the thumbs up from approving onlookers while leaving Strictly Come Dancing spin-off show It Takes Two.

The Venezuelan dancer drew attention to her lithe physique in a pair of form-fitting black leather trousers as she made her way towards a waiting car.

Continuing her look, Karen, 37, opted for a smart roll neck sweater, while raunchy knee length boots rounded things off.

Adding a touch of vibrancy to her ensemble, the ballroom professional wore thick red lipstick, generously applied from a rich colour palette.

Evidently in high spirits, Karen gave bystanders a cheerful wave and posed for selfies as she left the studio following her latest promotional commitment on behalf of Strictly.

Go hell for leather like Karen in leggings by Sosandar

'Tis the season of faux leather! Jackets, dresses, trousers, skirts… you name it, we want it.

Today we’re drawing inspiration from the lovely Karen Hauer, who was dressed to impress for an appearance on Strictly: It Takes Two.

Her leggings by Sosandar caught our eye for all the right reasons: their sleek silhouette, croc print and shiny finish. In fact, they would make a worthy addition to any winter wardrobe simply because they’re so versatile.

While we love how Karen teamed hers with a jumper and ankle boots, these leggings would look just as fabulous with a camisole and heels.

She was joined on the show by reunited couple Alex Scott and Neil Jones, who followed Karen out of the studio later that night.

Show host Zoe Ball was also seen making her way home after filming the latest installment of the Strictly spin-off.

Karen was appearing on It Takes Two after a disappointing performance on the eighth week of Strictly resulted in the dancer and her partner Chris languishing second from bottom on the leaderboard.

The pair were hoping to build on the stellar momentum from their Street performance last week, with a Tango to Survivor by 2wei, which most recently featured in the 2018 reboot of Tomb Raider.

But despite the switch in tone, judge Craig Revel-Horwood insisted that the comic really needed to 'up his game' to progress further in the competition, and described the technicalities as 'a disaster.'

On a positive note Shirley Ballas said: 'Chris you are such a funny character which we love about you, you came from Street last week which was such your thing, and the thing I admired there most was that focus.

'I found the footwork to be fairly decent there wasn't too much rise and fall and your frame is definitely going in the right direction so I thought all in all a very good effort.'

Despite Craig's slating critique, Chris and Karen ensured that they were not bottom of the leaderboard with a score of 26 points out of 40.

Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday November 16 on BBC1 at 7:05pm.
