Kacey Musgraves reveals she partied a little too hard (and is now paying the price) after CMA Award wins: 'Can you die from a hangover?'

She was a big winner at last night's Country Music Awards, taking home the top honor of Female Vocalist Of The Year.

But it looks like Kacey Musgraves celebrated a little too hard after the show.

The Golden Hour singer, 31, revealed to her Twitter followers Thursday she was suffering from a horrific hangover.

Kacey won two big awards Wednesday night at the 53rd Annual Country Music Awards in Nashville, Tennessee.

In addition to Female Vocalist Of The Year, her accomplishments that night included a win for Music Video Of The Year for Rainbow and a duet with country legend Willie Nelson.

Kacey beat out country superstars Carrie Underwood, Kelsea Ballerini, Miranda Lambert, and Maren Morris for Female Vocalist Of The Year.

'Thank you,' she said as she accepted the top honor. 'Words can't express just how meaningful and truly unbelievable this past couple of years have been.

'But I just want to say, I feel that the female energy is really needed right now,' she added. 'It's really important and I think it's what Earth needs.'

'I love country music. I have an amazing team who worked their a***es off. I'm just really happy to be here. Thank you.'

The awards are just the latest to be added to Kacey's collection of trophies.

Among her many honors are a Grammy for Album Of The Year and an ACM for Female Vocalist Of The Year.
