Remember dad: Bindi Irwin and fiancé Chandler Powell cuddle each other (and a giant python) as they host Steve Irwin Day at Australia Zoo

Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell pulled on their khakis to celebrate Steve Irwin Day at Australia Zoo on Friday.

The 21-year-old conservationist and her 23-year-old fiancé joined revellers, including singer Christine Anu, at the famous sanctuary on Queensland's Sunshine Coast.

In addition to performing, the 49-year-old singer was inducted into the zoo's Walk of Fame, leaving her hand prints in cement.

A cheerful Bindi and Chandler watched on as Christine got down on all fours to leave her imprint in the ground.

Bindi happily snapped selfies with khaki wearing fans who had gathered to meet the famous family and celebrate her late father.

She also excitedly posed for a photo with the family's beloved pet pug, Stella, who was dressed up in a khaki shirt.

They also held an enormous Burmese python, with Bindi and Chandler taking hold of its body, while Christine held onto the tail and director of Australia Zoo and Steve Irwin's best friend, Wes Mannion, 49, took charge of the animal's head.

Looking completely in love, Bindi and Chandler happily cuddled up for photos together just a day after she gave him a sweet shout out for his birthday on Instagram.

Steve Irwin Day is an annual event celebrated every year on November 15 to honour 'the life and legacy' of the late Crocodile Hunter star.

The 44-year-old tragically passed away in September 2006 after suffering a stingray barb to the heart while filming a documentary at Batt Reef.

And both Bindi and Chandler took to Instagram on Friday to pay tribute to the wildlife expert.

'November 15. #SteveIrwinDay. Wear your khaki with us as we celebrate the world’s greatest Wildlife Warrior and my superhero,' Bindi captioned a throwback family photo, adding a love heart emoji.

Meanwhile, Chandler shared a photo of his 'hero' standing in front of Uluru.

'Celebrating the most incredible Wildlife Warrior and my hero since I was little,' he wrote.

'Steve inspired millions around the world to love wildlife and follow your passion in life. Happy #SteveIrwinDay from @AustraliaZoo!'
