She broke her leg in two places on a family holiday to Cyprus last month.

And Amanda Holden ditched her knee scooter and crutches for the first time since suffering the injury as she left the Heart FM studios in central London on Monday after presenting her breakfast show.

The broadcaster, 48, told her Instagram followers she was pleased to be 'finally' wearing two shoes again as she continues to recover from her painful injury.

The mother-of-two looked lovely in a teal pleated midi-skirt, teamed with a fun lightning bolt motif sweater.

Amanda toted her belongings in an £885 Gucci GG Marmont bag and kept the winter chill at bay with a black leather biker jacket.

The radio DJ wore her blonde locks in a pristine blow-dry and accentuated her stunning features with natural make-up.

At one point, a passer by stopped to take a selfie with Amanda as she headed home for the day.

Posting a snap on her Instagram page on Monday morning, Amanda rejoiced in the improvement she had made.

She wrote: '#morning @thisisheart #breakfast TWO SHOES! finally!'

It was a family affair for the TV star, whose daughter Hollie Hughes, seven, interviewed Frozen 2 star Idina Menzel, 48, on Monday's show.

Hollie adorably quizzed the star: 'Do you sometimes wish you were a real princess?'

Idina responded: 'Hmm, I don't know if I do. Do you sometimes wish you were a real princess?

'You do, don't you? I think it would be a lot of pressure to be a princess or a queen.'

Amanda snapped her fibula in two places when she slipped on a children's obstacle course in the middle of the sea while holidaying in Cyprus last month.

The BGT favourite was 'showing off' on a family trip with her husband Chris Hughes and youngest daughter Hollie, seven, when the accident occurred.

On her return to work, she said: 'It was like an inflatable assault course, like Wipe Out, my eldest daughter [Alexa, 13] was on a school trip so Hollie was with me and Chris and she was desperate to get on this thing.'

Admitting she had to step in as the more athletic parent on the trip, she added: 'If you've seen my husband's hair, it's fabulous, so he didn't want to get his hair ruined, so he was standing on the side.

'So I said I won't read my book, I'll try and be a good mother. So I ended up going on the assault course and went round and round on my hands and knees like the geriatric I am.

'There were some kids who bashed into Hollie and so I said, "Excuse me, you can't do that on this" while looking around for their parents.

'Hollie was upset, so I raised my voice to these little gits. Hollie swam off, so I had to follow her, and there were these three stepping stones that I crawled over.'

Sharing the moment she broke her leg, the TV star added: 'I ran on them really quick, made it, and then I got to the inflatable platform, but fell and twisted my leg back on itself, and fell back into the sea.

'I'd never broken anything in my life, it felt like a shift. I've pulled tendons before so it felt like that but a bit worse. In the leg, I felt sick. I swam back one-legged while swearing and trying to wave at Chris.'

Amanda insisted she has experienced worse things in life, explaining: 'I had to be put under a general [anaesthetic]... They've put a metal plate [into my leg] which is the best way to heal it because I'm very impatient.'
