I'm A Celebrity: Nadine Coyle insists Girls Aloud WERE all friends (despite claiming 'there was no friendship' between them) but admits she spent her free time partying without them
Nadine Coyle has spoken about Girls Aloud for the first time during her I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! stint.
The songstress, 34, broached the subject of the band's infamous feud while talking to Kate Garraway during Tuesday night's edition of the jungle-based reality show.
Kate - who was voted across to join Main Camp on Monday's show, after completing the first Bushtucker Trial of the season - asked Nadine about life in a girl band, to which Nadine commented it's lots of fun but lots of hard work.

Kate then asked why Nadine was reportedly no longer friends with the other members of Girls Aloud.
'Everyone gets on with their lives,' Nadine said, but insisted things were initially amicable between them all.
'I was friends with them all, it was all nice and lovely. But I was always in the gay bars with all the guys!
'I’d be out partying, me and ten guys, I was having a laugh, I was 18-19 years old.'

During the launch show on Sunday, fans were quick to notice that none of Nadine's former-bandmates pledged their support for her on social media.
This led to a flurry of hilarious memes of Cheryl, 36, voting for Nadine to do all the forthcoming Bushtucker Trials.
One tweet showed Cheryl on a phone, with the caption, 'Cheryl right now voting for Nadine to 'eat a kangaroo penis and sleep in a coffin with rats' - just two of the potential Trials the celebs on the show typically face.

Nadine was also made to jump out of a plane with Caitlyn Jenner - prompting further tweets suggesting that Cheryl was in the aircraft, standing by, ready to push the Irish songstress out.
'Bet Nadine asked security to check the plane for Cheryl and a big pair of scissors,' someone else posted.
Yet Nadine was hailed a hit with fans - with one tweeting: 'When Nadine comes out of the jungle and FINALLY gets to be the nations sweetheart over Cheryl.'
'Hello... is that the bitter hotline?' This led to a flurry of hilarious memes of Cheryl, 36, voting for Nadine, 34, to do all the forthcoming Bushtucker Trials
Another echoed: 'Nadine is here to take her rightful crown as the nation's sweetheart off of Cheryl!'
The girl group - who rose to fame in 2002 before splitting for good in 2013 - saw a divide form in later years.
Nadine and Sarah Harding were said to have fallen out with Cheryl, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts - the latter three still close friends.
Kimberley admitted, ahead of Nadine's jungle debut, that they have 'drifted apart' over the years.

The mother-of-two, 37, also revealed that she is shocked to see Nadine joining the I'm A Celebrity 2019 line-up as it's not something she would 'expect her to do'.
Yet despite drifting apart and not keeping in touch, Kimberley insisted that she will still be watching the ITV jungle series and wants Nadine to 'do well'.
Talking to the Mirror, the singer said: 'I'm really surprised that she's doing it because it wouldn't be something I'd expect her to do but it's going to be really fun to watch.
'We don't really speak often at all. She obviously moved to America and I guess we just sort of drifted apart like you do really.'
Teasing what fans can expect from Nadine's appearance in the jungle, Kimberley admitted that she is 'terrified of everything'.

All is well? Despite the alleged feud, Kimberley did take to Instagram on Sunday to wish Sarah happy birthday
She said: 'I mean, she's terrified of everything so that could be a problem, but maybe after becoming a mum she's a bit tougher, because you put on a brave face for them so they don't get scared of stuff. I hope she does well.'

She posted a photo of the pair of them from a few years ago, wishing her many happy returns and drawing a heart over it.
Kimberley's interview comes after Nadine admitted that she doesn’t know if she has the full support of her former Girls Aloud bandmates, because she hasn’t spoken to them in more than half a decade.

The Northern Irish singer told The Mirror: 'I spoke to Sarah around the time of Big Brother but I haven’t seen or spoken to them since the end of Girls Aloud or just before I had my daughter.
'So that’s about six years ago. Sarah more recently at the start of Big Brother when she was very excited, but yeah I haven’t spoken to or seen any of them in about that long.'
Nadine said last year that the group were 'never really friends' during their time together.
'There was no falling out, there was just no friendship to begin with,' she told Celebrity Juice in 2018.
Divided: The admission comes following a long-running feud with former band-mate Cheryl, and a recent admission that the group were 'never really friends' during their time together (pictured in 2012)
Speaking to The Sun, Nadine added that her outspoken nature frequently ruffled her band-mates' feathers.
'It was fine at the start but there’s always politics in any band. It just happened that I always got more vocals than everybody else, so in terms of people wanting their voice heard, that wasn’t happening,' she explained.
'It made people, very bitter. They didn’t like that. It’s so sad for me to have to admit this stuff now because for so long, there’s the band, and you want everybody to think we’re best friends and we have pillow fights and, you know, drink milkshakes.
'That’s what I wanted it to be. I really, really wanted that to be, but it just wasn’t how it was. We’re all very, very different characters.'
Nadine's comments came after Cheryl lashed out at her onetime bandmate, insisting the beginning of the end for Girls Aloud was when Nadine decided to go solo.
As they were: Cheryl and Nadine are pictured looking chummy in 2008
When presented with the claim that the split was decided by her, Cheryl told Attitude: 'She’s full of s**t. What d’you want us to say? She’s full of s**t.
'She was the one who wanted to make a solo record. Which is why we took the hiatus. So she’s not now going to say that we broke up the band. No? That’s it. She wants to come out and say we broke the band up? No!
'She shouldn’t tell porkie pies. She should remember why we took the hiatus after seven years so she could go and...
'Okay, so do you want us to tell the truth? She wasn’t going to make another Girls Aloud record until she got a solo deal.
'I feel she held us to ransom. And then made her solo record deal. It’s the truth. She’s saying that we broke the band up. So there you go.'

Shine like Cheryl wearing a sequinned The Attico dress
As predicted Cheryl made a sparkling statement at the Attitude Awards 2019 in a sequinned mini dress by The Attico. She looks so good we've gone a little green with envy at Fashion Finder HQ.
The singer wore the dress with thigh-high black boots that complemented that striking buckled neckline. We love the keyhole bodice that adds a daring aesthetic to the look which is balanced out with the long sleeves and all-over striped embellishment.

Nadine is one of ten new celebrities to throw their hat into the ring for the forthcoming nineteenth series of the long-running show, held annually in remote rainforest on Australia's east coast.
However the singer insists she is not interested in winning, preferring instead to focus on the experience of living outdoors for a maximum of three weeks.
'I’m not even thinking about it as a competition,' she said. 'Obviously I had to enter a singing competition to get into Girls Aloud whereas this is like who’s going to be the best Jungler, who makes the best fire, who makes the best water.
'To me I’m not seeing this as a competition but I know there’s a whole voting thing which makes it slightly different but I’m really just thinking about it as an experience.'
Ahead of her arrival, Nadine said that she has become much more fearful of things since becoming a parent to daughter Anaiya, five, with former partner Jason Bell, 41.
Cautious: Ahead of her arrival, Nadine said that she has become much more fearful of things since becoming a parent to daughter Anaiya, five, with former partner Jason Bell
She confessed she used to be 'so brave' and led a 'go, go go' lifestyle, but has become afraid of 'even being in the car and flying' since becoming a mother.
Nadine said: 'I am scared of so many things. I really want to try something completely new. I used to be brave. In the past, I’ve opened a restaurant, had a record label, had my daughter and it was go, go, go with all of these.'
On being afraid to carry out simple activities in her life, she added: 'Now I have got so fearful even being in the car, flying or general things.'
The singer said she hopes I'm A Celebrity will renew her confidence: 'I think it is since I became a parent that I am much more afraid.
'I really hope that by doing this, it pushes me so far out the comfort zone and that I learn to be comfortable, feel relaxed and do the things that I didn’t used to be afraid of.'
I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! airs nightly at 9:00PM on ITV.
