Brie Larson tells Ellen she wants a free Disney Plus subscription after starring in Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame

Despite starring in two of the biggest movies of 2019 - Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame, Brie Larson doesn't even have a free Disney Plus account to show for it.

Larson was on Ellen Wednesday, promoting her new non-Marvel movie Just Cause (debuting in limited release December 25, nationwide January 10, 2020), when they were talking about Avengers: Endgame, which Larson joked was, 'the little movie that could.'

When Ellen broke down the box office for Larson, revealing it made nearly $2.8 billion, Larson mentioned her lack of a 'comped Disney Plus account.'

When Ellen asked how she 'did on that,' if she got any 'back end' on the movie, Larson said, 'You know, I don't even have a Disney Plus account comped.'

Ellen mentioned they should give her that, 'for free, at least,' with Larson saying she was going to, 'use this opportunity to ask.

'Waiting for my Disney Plus comped account. I've got multiple pieces of art on your streaming service, including one of my first and best roles I've ever done, which is a film called Right on Track, it was a Disney Channel original movie.'

Larson also recently made headlines last month for her reaction to a proposal that happened right in front of her at ACE Comic Con.

'Yeah, it was really sweet. It was my first time going to a con, as I've learned you call them, so I got to meet a lot of people, a lot of Captain Marvel fans,' she began.

'And in it, there was a proposal. This man came in, and the second he stood up next to me, he turned to his boyfriend and said, "I love you more than Captain Marvel," which was shocking to hear,' she said as the crowd began to laugh.

She added that he proposed and she was 'shocked, and I wasn't even proposed to,' and she eventually tried to 'hide behind the man.'

'I felt like I was in the middle of something I was not supposed to be in,' she added.

When Ellen asked if she was invited to the wedding, Larson said, 'I did not get that invite,' adding she, 'probably can't come but I just want the invititation.'

She also spoke about recent photos that surfaced of her riding donkeys with George Clooney in Madrid, for a Nespresso commercial.

'I would like everyone to know that George got to the donkeys first, and he gave me the bigger one, which I think is gentlemanly,' Larson said.

Ellen asked if she ever thought when she was growing up that she would be on a donkey with George Clooney, she said it wasn't in the 'realm of possibilities.'
