Don a double-breasted coat like Holly in Hobbs
Come rain or shine, Holly Willoughby never lets us down. Even in a simple black coat, she looked trendy and chic as she kept out the November cold at the Winter Wonderland opening in London.
A new winter coat is an essential at this time of year and if you're looking for a timeless classic then this belted style from Hobbs should go to the top of your wish list.
The double-breasted cut makes any outfit look smart and if you wear it closed, you don't even have to worry about what you've got underneath.
The fact it's high street is a real plus too. This one's sure not to go out of fashion, so think of the cost per wear.

Appearing on the show to discuss his annual CarFest weekend, a music and motoring festival held each year across Hampshire and Cheshire, Evans went off-topic by admitting he recently had his varicose veins ‘microwaved.’
The pioneering treatment, which became available across the UK from February 2019, is a new method used to remove unsightly varicose veins under local anaesthetic.
However the procedure can leave patients with deep bruising, and Evans was keen to show his off his own blemishes as he chatted to the show hosts.
'Are you about to take your trousers down?' Warned Phil as the presenter prepared to unbutton himself. 'What sort of pants have you got on? They’re not teeny pants?'
That escalated quickly: Chris Evans showed off his bruised legs on Wednesday's edition of This Morning after revealing he recently had his varicose veins 'microwaved'
Hilarious: The moment prompted hysterical laughter from co-host Holly as she chatted to the presenter
Opening the floodgates: Phil also saw the funny side during the unexpected moment on Wednesday afternoon
Assuring the host that his underwear was appropriate for a daytime show, Evans lowered his trousers to reveal a pair of bicycle shorts - and some large brown bruises.
'I had my varicose veins microwaved last week,' he explained, tracing a finger across the blemishes. 'And you have them taken out and the aftermath is ongoing. See all this?'
'Oh my gosh! It’s quite bruised isn’t it?' Remarked Holly as she glanced at his exposed legs.
'They used to laser, they now microwave and they used to strip. So you get them stripped out,' Evans explained. 'Emma Thompson said, and she’s had children, she said "Up there with childbirth having your veins stripped out."
'But the thing is that what they’ve found out is that if you prune a bush, it comes back doesn’t it? So if you prune your veins they come back.'
Evans prompted more laughter from Holly and Phil after admitting he couldn't pull his trousers back up, telling the pair: 'I need a copy of the paper!'
