Titans unveiled the Nightwing supersuit before the Season 2 finale on the DC Universe streaming service

With just over a week left until the Season 2 finale of Titans, the DC Universe streaming service unveiled the first look at the Nightwing supersuit.

Executive producer/showrunner Greg Walker was on hand to unveil the suit with costume designer Laura Jean Shannon on Thursday night on the Warner Bros. lot.

The suit will make its debut during the Season 2 finale of Titans, airing Friday, November 29, marking the first ever live-action portrayal of Nightwing.

The suit was designed by Shannon and her team, and constructed by Creative Character Engineering, worn by Brenton Thwaites' Dick Grayson.

Walker and Shannon also unveiled the supersuits for other characters such Robin (Curran Walters),  Wonder Girl (Conor Leslie) and Garth/Aqualad (Drew Van Acker).

Other supersuits present include Hawk (Alan Ritchson), Dove (Elliot Knight), Ravager (Chelsea Zhang) and Deathstroke (Esai Morales).

DC Universe has already renewed Titans for a third season last week, with the new season arriving in the fall of 2020.

No episode count was given and it remains to be seen how many episodes the third season will get, since the first episode had 11 and this second season had 13.

It isn't clear when production may begin for the third season.

The show follows the aforementioned heroes as they learn how to co-exist as a new team, as they must join forces to combat the nefarious Deathstroke.

The show was created by Akiva Goldsman, Greg Berlanti and Marc Haimes, who all executive produce alongside Sarah Schechter.

The supersuit unveil comes hours after it was revealed that another DC Universe series, Stargirl, will air on both the streaming service and The CW.

Stargirl will still air new episodes on DC Universe, but they will then air on The CW Network a day after their DC Universe debut.

While it remains to be seen if there will be a similar deal being worked out for Titans, another DCU show, Doom Patrol, will also air on the new HBO Max streaming service. 

The Season 2 finale of Titans will air on DC Universe Friday, November 29 on DC Universe.
