She then shared details of numerous charities including Mind, Calm, The NSPCC and The Samaritans.

Scarlett's inspirational words came after she finally broke her silence on being axed from Ant and Dec's show by insisting the show will be 'amazing' without her.

The star told Matthew Wright on talkRADIO that her exit from the show simply comes after producers decided to switch up the show's format by removing her 'challenge-like' segment.

It comes after ITV confirmed earlier in the day that Scarlett had been dropped from her 'dream job' on Saturday Night Takeaway, after joining the show's presenting lineup in 2017.

When asked about her exit from the show, Scarlett told Matthew: 'I don't know why this is a big story because it hasn't been on for two years. It's not like a rolling contract.

'They are just changing the format of the show. My bit was like challenge Anneka, and they have taken that out. It will still be amazing with Ant and Dec and Stephen, what a trio of men.'

Scarlett was also asked whether she was dropped from the show because the lineup had become to 'Newcastle-y' alongside fellow Northern stars Ant and Dec.

She sarcastically responded: 'Yeah because no one on the TV is from south!'

'[I said] why are you crying for, but when you actually do it I was like oh why did I do this, you get used to bugs, you get used to smell.'

Revealing the worst part about the experience, she said: 'Being in that cave where the water was filling up and there were rats who were going to the warm places, they were going to the crevices.'
