Minecraft: PS Vita Edition Release Date Revealed for North America

Sony revealed today that Minecraft: PlayStation Vita Edition will launch in North America on October 14 for $20 USD.

Along with announcing the digital release date, Sony also said on the PlayStation Blog that a retail version of Minecraft: PlayStation Vita Edition is coming November 11. PlayStation 3 owners of Minecraft will get the handheld version for free, thanks to cross-buy, though the same offer isn't available to PlayStation 4 owners of the title.

Minecraft: PlayStation Vita Edition will come out in Europe on October 15, the day after the North American release. The handheld game has been in final testing over at Sony for the past couple of weeks.
