CLIN 19 - Accepted Proceedings Papers
CLIN 19 was the 19th Meeting of Computational Linguistics in the Netherlands, held in Groningen at 22 January 2009. It contained 58 oral presentations and 9 poster presentations.
The proceedings of the conference will be published in the fall of 2009. Sixteen papers have been submitted for the proceedings. The following nine have been accepted:
- Elephants and Optimality Again by Tamas Biro (Groningen and Amsterdam)
- Annotation of Events and Temporal Expressions in French Texts by André Bittar (Paris)
- Linking Dutch Wikipedia Categories to EuroWordNet by Gosse Bouma (Groningen)
- An Aspect Based Document Representation for Event Clustering by Wim De Smet and Marie-Francine Moens (Leuven)
- Coreference without Discourse Referents by Gianluca Giorgolo and Christina Unger (Utrecht)
- Semantic Selectional Restrictions for Disambiguating Meronymy Relations by Ashwin Ittoo and Gosse Bouma (Groningen)
- Frequent Structure Discovery in Treebanks by Scott Martens (Leuven)
- A regression model for the English benefactive alternation by Daphne Theijssen, Hans van Halteren, Karin Fikkers, Frederike Groothoff, Lian van Hoof, Eva van de Sande, Jorieke Tiems, Véronique Verhagen and Patrick van der Zande (Nijmegen)
- A treebank-driven investigation of predicate complements in Dutch by Frank Van Eynde (Leuven)
