About our version

We have tried to incorporate the Outline of American Literature into our web of Outlines, bibliographies, original documents, essays, images, and other material. This is the complete text of the original USIA version enriched with relevant links. Building this hypertext is a dynamic process, and more links may be added in the future as the project grows. The first make-over was completely done by George M. Welling.
