As was noted in section 1.5.2, the account also appears to work for expressions of maximum quantity. To my knowledge, Von Bergen and Von Bergen (1993) is the only reference where it is explicitly stated that there is such a category of maximale Einheiten (maximum units) which allow for pragmatic inferences in licensing environments analogous to expressions of minimum quantity; Fauconnier himself does not mention this category.
