1 DOWN THE RABBIT-HOLE

002     Alenku už mrzelo sedět na břehu vedle cesty a nic nedělat.

2 ALICE was beginning to get very tired of sitting by her sister on the bank and of having nothing to do:

003  Párkrát nakoukla sestře do rozečtené knížky,

3 once or twice she had peeped into the book her sister was reading,

004  ale nebyly tam žádné obrázky a nic se tam nepovídalo,

4 but it had no pictures or conversations in it,
