41 'Well!' thought Alice to herself, 'After such a fall as this, I shall think nothing of tumbling down-stairs!

042  To mě ale budou doma pokládat za hrdinku!

045     Stále hloub a hloub a hloub. Což tomu padání nikdy nebude konec?

046  „To bych ráda věděla, kolik mil jsem se propadla?“ řekla nahlas.

46 'I wonder how many miles I've fallen by this time?' she said aloud.

047  „Už budu až někde u středu Země.

47 'I must be getting somewhere near the centre of the earth.

049  (Alenka se totiž ve škole všelico naučila,

49 (for, you see, Alice had learnt several things of this sort in her lessons in the school-room,

50 and though this was not a very good opportunity for showing off her knowledge,
